Katy Watson and Tom Hindle - In Conversation

As part of Only Murders in the Library, a crime writing festival at Basingstoke Discovery Centre.

Katy Watson grew up in North Wales in a family of folk singers, story tellers and murder mystery addicts. Her first murder mystery, The Three Dahlias, was Waterstones Thriller of the Month in 2023, and since then the Dahlias have gone from strength to strength. Rosalind, Caro and Posy's fifth adventure, A Deadly Night at the Theatre, is set in London's West End.

Tom Hindle is a Sunday Times bestselling author known for his destination murder mysteries, inspired by masters of the crime genre including Agatha Christie and Anthony Horowitz. His novels (A Fatal Crossing, The Murder Game, and Murder on Lake Garda) have all featured as Waterstones Thriller of the Month or Paperback of the Year!

Event running time is around 40 minutes plus time for a Q&A. Waterstones will be present for book sales and signing before and after the main event.
